Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing protective gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and strategy by throwing punches at each other, usually within a square ring. The objective is to score points by landing strikes on the opponent while avoiding being hit, and fights can also end by knockout when one opponent is unable to continue. Boxing has a rich history and is governed by a set of rules, including weight classes and specific regulations concerning allowed techniques and conduct during matches. It is recognized both as a professional sport and as an amateur competition in events such as the Olympics.
